The Young Scientist program has been designed to promote science awareness among High school students, to increase their understanding in science and to attract them into scientific careers through activities emphasizing hands-on research.


"I 4 India", a competition for all the young budding college students, who feel their talent goes untapped and unnoticed, in the field of research. Space Kidz India is giving an opportunity to all college students, a platform to exhibit there brimming talent in the science genre.

Youth Icon

Space Kidz India, savoring space sciences presents "Youth Icon of the Year" every year, a unique competition to commemorate "the spirit of national youth day" among high school students of all boards.

"From Gulab Jamun To The Stars" book launch

An inspiring tale for young and old, this book captures an amazing story of how the world's smallest satellite was inspired by the popular Indian sweet Gulab Jamun and how it was tested in the most unconventional manner. The book is authored by Srinivas Laxman. Srinivas Laxman is a senior space journalist contributing regularly to the Times of India. Over the years he has covered major rocket launches. With immense passion and experience, he has authored 4 books previously and "From Gulab Jamun To The Stars" is his 5th one.

Human Rocket Formation

Space Kidz India, Heartfulness Meditation – Sri Ram Chandra Mission and Shri Sakthi Kailassh Women’s College formed the Largest Human Rocket, as a part of their ‘Science and Technology’ awareness campaign owing to the National Science Day, wherein the 6,500 girls formed a ‘ Human Rocket’ at Kailash Maansarovar School (CBSE), Kumaragiri, Salem, Tamil Nadu, on February 20, 2018.

Shakespeare Lives - 2016

Shakespeare Lives, being celebrated across the Country by ELTAI in collaboration with Space Kidz India and British Council. At SBIOA School, Annanagar. Organised back on the date, September 2, back in the year 2016.

National Science Day - 2016

To mark National Science Day (February 28), SKI brought in Russian cosmonaut Salizhan Sharipov to interact with kids in the Chennai city. Sharipov, who started his career as a pilot instructor has logged over 950 hours of flying time apart from flying the MIG -21, L-39 aircraft. As a military pilot, Colonel. Salizhan was selected by the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center as a cosmonaut candidate. He has flown two space missions and has logged over 422 hours in space.

London Olympics 2012

Space Kidz India had created an opportunity for the Indian High School and University students to perform at the London Olympics – 2012, and also at the Royal Hall, South Bank – London, for the Indian High Commission’s Olympic Celebration. This was the 1st ever time students from India had performed in any Olympics.
